***We must bring to your attention***
As stated very clearly in our Terms and Conditions-
- TOLL ROADS: The Hirer is responsible for payment of all toll infringements that are incurred during the rental period. Any unpaid toll fee’s that are sent to Camperman Australia will incur a $70.00AUD administration charge per infringement. The hirer will also be required to pay the cost of the infringement. This will not be paid by Camperman Australia.
As stated very clearly on the Rental Contract –
- The hirer accepts total liability for all parking, toll and traffic violations during the period of the rental agreement and hereby authorises Camperman Australia to debit his credit card for the administration charge of $70.00 per fine. This is a delay process of charges.
We have provided a step by step break down for you to avoid this $70 fee. Camperman is aware there is sufficient signage on the roads to know you are travelling on a toll. Therefore if you receive a ‘Traffic Infringement Admin fee’ there is NO refund of this fee, as you were made aware and signed a contract stating you agree to this fee. Exceptions to this are only if proper documentation can be provided to Camperman that the tolls were paid within 48 hours or that an account was set up prior to travel.
