Western Australia Touring Information

Lincoln National Park

Drive time: 1 h | 70 km from Coffin Bay

Lincoln National Park overlooks the largest natural harbour in Australia, Boston Bay.  Granite headlands, tranquil coves and islands make up the Boston Bay region to the north of Lincoln National Park. To the south is the Sleaford-Wanna dune system and the pounding surf of the Southern Ocean.

Lincoln National Park protects some rare wildlife including the Rosenberg's goanna, echidna, brush-tailed bettong, western whipbird, malleefowl and hooded plover. With over 130 species of birds the national park is a birdwatcher’s paradise. On the beaches you might spot some Australian sea lions and long-nosed fur seals. In the ocean look for bottle-nose and common dolphins. If it's winter (between May and October) southern right whales gather along the coastline to mate and calve.
