Camperman: Campervan Hire Australia

Perth to Adelaide Drive

Perth to Adelaide Drive: 16 days

Drive time: 45 h | 3,700 km

This 16 day self drive campervan tour from Perth to Adelaide is crammed with experiences  that will remain in your memory for a lifetime and includes swimming with dolphins, climbing the giant Gloucester Tree, camping among Yeagerup Dunes, exploring limestone caves, tasting wine, crossing the Nullarbor and lots more.

The road trip can be divided into three basic sections:

  • Perth to Esperance, which is packed with things to see and do. You could easily spend two weeks on this part of the journey. We recommend spending half your time here. (This tour gives you 8 days)
  • The Nullarbor Plain, which is amazing at first (so much open space!) but soon becomes boring. This leg will involve long drive times of six hours per day. (This tour gives you 3 days)
  • Ceduna to Adelaide, which includes some gorgeous coastal national parks. You won't need as long here as you did for the Perth to Esperance section. (This tour gives you 5 days)
